Another baby gear favorite is this awesome baby monitor! The picture is crisp, there’s a zoom function, temperature reader, interchangeable lenses, night mode, and noise reduction. (You hear the sweet baby noises but not the static of the sound machine!) Baby boy is still sleeping in our bedroom at night, but I use it for nap times. It’s so great to have a peace of mind and watch his little breaths I you step away to fix a snack or take a shower.

One of my favorite baby/kids items that we use on a daily basis is the Hatch Rest sound machine. It’s so easy to use when you have just one free hand, or from across the room by using the app. It provides the perfect soft warm glow so I can keep an eye on my little guy at night, and the white noise is soothing enough to drown out other noises and keep him from startling himself and waking up. It’s a must-have for sure for new mamas!

Another favorite feature I’ll be glad to have is the mode that will turn the light green at your set time, so older kids know whether it’s time to wake up, or still the middle of the night.

A little birdie told me that Santa is bringing Logan the cutest stuff for his first Christmas! Since he’ll have no idea what’s going on as an 8-week-old, I tried to think of gifts he’ll enjoy for many years, and also ways to incorporate new family traditions. He’s getting an ornament and a classic Christmas book, as well as a custom stocking. After Aaron found out that Logan was getting a road rug for his play room, he said that was one thing he always wanted Christmas is so much more fun and magical as parents and we can’t wait for Santa to come. 🎅🏻✨
