This beautiful red and white one-piece swimsuit is by Milly. It has a chic cutout in the center with a universally flattering deep V neckline. The straps are removable, but I like that they help keep everything secure so you can do activities without worrying about adjusting your swimsuit. The fit is true to size; I’m wearing a small.

The matching coverup, also by Milly, is equally as chic and everything you’d want in a coverup… it’s lightweight, it has sleeves for additional sun protection, it’s easy to pack, and it can double as a dress with a simple slip layered underneath. Fit is also true to size.

I finished my look with my favorite See By Chloe platform wedges, a cool pair of Isabel Marant aviators, and a beautiful woven Loewe bag.

The sleeves give you a little more coverage and the elastic at the waist provides slimming definition. I like the white color since it easily coordinates with a lot of my swimwear, but if you prefer a different color, this dress is also available in 6 other colors!

The shoulders create width across the top, which in contrast with the tailored waist, gives the illusion of a smaller waist. The cotton blend fabric is thick enough to provide structure but is also quite breathable and lightweight for those who run hot. Since this blazer is denim, you can style it multiple ways: casually for lunch or dress it up for work or dinner.

In this look, I styled the blazer with one of my favorite basic white tees by ATM, a pair of cropped white jeans by L’Agence, and some neutral Sam Edelman pumps. Pairing the blazer with whites and light neutrals like this feels so fresh and springy.

I LOVE blazers… and this gorgeous oversized linen blazer is one of my absolute favorites for summer!

I wear this chic blazer all.the.time… with shorts, jeans, over dresses… you name it! But my favorite way to wear it is as a set with its coordinating shorts. I may be partial to the super chic B belt😉, but the overall fit of the shorts is perfection. They’re high-waisted, which combined with the wider leg opening, makes your waist and legs look smaller. This is an easy, chic desk-to-dinner look! I’m wearing a Veronica Beard denim blazer with a pair of black Favorite Daughter wide-leg pants. These are the “Shortie” pants, but they also come in a regular length. Even the Shortie length is a little long on me (I’m 5’4”) so I have to wear heels. The wide-leg is SO flattering and I love that the pleating isn’t too overwhelming in the midsection.

Under the blazer, I’m wearing a black knit top by Open Edit. It’s thick and structured enough to wear without a bra if you are smaller-chested. If you need a bra, I would suggest strapless since the neckline is square and the straps on a regular bra would likely show. The top is cropped and body-skimming so tucking isn’t an issue- a must with pleated pants, so you don’t add bulk around the tummy.

I completed the look with a classic pair of black booties, a black belt, and cool Quay cat-eye sunglasses, but you could make accessory swaps to make it more or less work-appropriate. This is such a modern, unexpected office outfit idea that will easily transition to dinner. If you want to add more va-va-voom, take your blazer off when you get to dinner to show off the sexy square neckline of the top. All of these pieces run true to size.

1 | Wear a Peplum Top - Peplum tops not only slim your waist and mask a tummy, but they also help to create that coveted hourglass figure! I love this beautiful peplum top, because the fabric is really forgiving and the body-skimming fit is very elegant.
2 | Wear darker colors - Darker colors, like black, will mask any insecurities better than lighter colors will. This applies for any part of the body. Looking to minimize a bust… wear a darker top. Looking to minimize your thighs… try darker wash jeans. In this case, the black peplum top pulls double duty to slim the overall silhouette while creating a beautiful hourglass shape.
