A girl and her pots... PLANTS! 😂 Before last weekend, we were only responsible for two real plants. 🤷🏻♀️ One that stayed outside & needed V little attention... And the other that needed to be watered & rotated every once in a while!
.
We have somehow managed to keep them both alive (we received them almost 2 years ago as housewarming gifts). Don’t give me too much credit because like I said, these gals aren’t high maintenance. 🙌🏻
.
Over the weekend I took on a little DIY project that included spray painting pots and decided to increase the # of real plants Garrett & I look after! #HopingForTheBest 🤞🏼 I started small to make sure I didn’t overwhelm myself...
So here are a few tips I learned from last weekend!
.
🌱 Be patient! Before making a single purchase, think about ALL aspects. Do you want to start inside or outside. What areas of your home are you considering to place these living greens; will it meet the needs of the plant?! Do you travel often? What type of pots are you hoping to plant in?!
.
🌱 If you are a new plant mom OR dad, save the information card that comes with your plant. Learning everything about your plant before you purchase is important but saving the information card could be helpful incase you have to reference back. I actually uploaded photos of mine and saved it in an email (less clutter)! I might have to create a file on my computer if I’m successful with these 4!
.
If you have a green thumb, leave your suggestions below! I’m sure we could all benefit. 👏🏻

I wasn’t able to link my top or jeans... BUT I did link my shoes + sunnies! I also linked all my favorite pots that I shopped from over the weekend. So cute! 😍 Shop my daily looks by following me on the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app http://liketk.it/2OsH1 #liketkit @liketoknow.it
