I’m not big on wardrobe “must-haves”, but this is a piece that makes getting dressed for special occasions really easy, so it’s a wardrobe essential for me. Statement blouses should…make a statement! Don’t be afraid to push the style envelope a little and embrace some drama with ruffles, balloon sleeves or lace. What I love about statement blouses are that they’re “one and done” outfits. Grab your favorite ponte pants, simple shoes and a pair of earrings and you’re done. No layering required. For max utility avoid red, or prints that look overly “holiday”.
