I think since the stick turned pink and we found out we were expecting a little girl in 2018, I’ve been eagerly anticipating this moment 🙌🏼 We surprised Palmer today some Nutcracker goodies and told her that we got her tickets to see the ballet in December! She’s under the weather this week, so we thought she could use a pick-me-up. I thought she could also enjoy this Nutcracker DVD I snagged at goodwill since she’s Barbie obsessed, and get a little more familiar with the music and storyline! As I took ballet until high school, this is extra special to me. 🩰🎄

It’s been a big week for this sweet girl, she’s officially not in a closed crib anymore. She’s done awesome, we’re so proud! So glad we bought her Hatch sound machine earlier this year because she loves the “red stay in bed”, “green okay to wake” light features. I also just recovered the piano bench in here I bought in college, and recovered it with fabric that used to be my grandmothers. So sweet 💓

That new rug feeling 🙌🏼 We’ve have had the same woven jute rugs (which we’ve loved) for close to 7 years now, so we just updated some of the rugs throughout our home from Amazon, and we’re in love!
