We did this Advent Activity Idea with Christmas books we already had at home plus books we rented from the library. We used old packing paper to wrap the books and my kiddos loved getting to open up one book every day. Especially our oldest whose love language is receiving gifts. 🥰

If you have a child who loves to read, or you just want to encourage a love of reading in your child, here are some of our favorite options to do just that!

And if you’re on the fence about the Yoto player, I highly recommend it! We use it for learning time as I love that it has a screen to show questions for my kids to answer. Things like showing a picture of a flag and asking what country it’s from.

We also use it for quiet time, as a visual for wake and sleep time, and for drawing time during the morning show.

The adventure jacket helps when you want to take it on the go as well, but you can also just opt to get the smaller travel size one if you choose.
