A few years ago, my daily uniform was strictly comfy leggings and oversized sweatshirts. I was in the thick of survival mode—battling cancer, caring for sick parents, and playing chauffeur to my kids. I didn’t have the time or energy to care about how I looked; I just needed to make it to the end of the day.
But hiding in those layers took a toll. I didn’t realize it then, but I had lost my confidence. When I walked into a room, I didn’t want to be seen; I just wanted to fade into the background of my own chaotic life.
The shift didn't happen overnight. But slowly, I started paying attention again. With my love for art history, I began looking at getting dressed less like a chore and more like curation. I started looking for flattering fits—pieces that were still incredibly comfortable, but intentional and put together.
And you know what happened? I got my strut back.
Suddenly, I was walking into rooms with my head held high, catching compliments, and smiling again. My family noticed the shift, and for the first time in years, I wasn't just surviving the day—I was looking forward to the next one.
Today, I feel deeply confident and beautifully put together in my size 10 body. And my goal is to make sure you feel that exact same magic in yours. Fashion isn't about rigid rules or fitting a certain mold; it's about reclaiming your power and feeling seen.
