day 1/6 habits I’m taking with me into 36✨

WEIGHTED WALKS! unless I’m injured, I’m never stopping these because yes it has so many physical benefits but the mental & emotional benefits are TEA. I feel so much lighter. Walking outside, taking in the fresh air, while carrying more weight than usual on me…it’s giving mini reset.

Maturing is realizing that my crash outs and mood swings aren’t just random… & they’re not me being ‘crazy,’ they’re signals. And I’ve been paying attention because the cost is too expensive!

I’ll notice a shift & take stock…asking myself what type of week did I have? Do I have deadlines stacked? Where am I in my cycle?

And let me tell y’all, CYCLE SYNCING has been a game changer!! Literally life changing. I knew that feeling felt familiar so when I checked my app and say LUTEAL phase, I just had to laugh😭

I may not always be able to stop the feelings from hitting, but I can manage them before they spiral. Or at the very least, recover quicker.

I used to think i had to “try harder” to get compliments, but the minute I started dressing for comfort? they started rolling in & here’s why:

1. I carry myself different when i’m not tugging or adjusting all day..there’s a quiet confidence that comes from being at ease in your clothes. when i’m not focused on how something’s fitting or pulling, i move more freely, and that ease shows up in my posture, my energy, & everything.

2. my energy feels lighter, like i’m actually relaxed in my body. choosing comfort has helped me slow down and relax. Im not rushing or forcing anything. I feel more grounded, and that’s where my feminine energy really lives.

3. People can sense when you feel good in what you’re wearing… it just shows. Comfortable outfits help me look and feel more relaxed & more approachable. Oh & the glow hits different when it’s coming from being aligned with your body…not just the outfit.

I know they say sleep is not optional BUT what to do when your toddler wakes up several times throughout the night?!?

mornings look different every day but l as a high functioning woman & overstimulated mom I try very hard to stay 10 toes down on a few self care rituals like my supplements, lemon water, & sunlight first thing in the morning. sometimes I may even have time to journal but I usually wait to do my full self care routine after school drop off.

a few thoughts:
when I don’t take my @megafood supplements, esp magnesium..I can feel the difference in my mood & energy
