In our basement theater room, we built a kitchenette snack bar off to the side with a sink, dishwasher, and mini fridge. In contrast to our main upstairs white-toned kitchen, we decided to go dark down here and contrast it with natural wood and brick to give it a cozy, movie room vibe. The “sofa pit” that you can see part of here extends the whole length of the room and the extra deep seating means that everyone gets to put their feet up and snuggle down in a comfy spot.
