In our pantry room, we created an “appliance counter” along the main wall where we put in a row of outlets (each on its own circuit) so our medium-size appliances could live out on the counter and be easy to access. We keep their various attachments, as well as smaller hand-held appliances, in the drawers below. For storage above, we combined open shelving with air-tight containers and closed storage above for extras. Below, we put in open wire roll-out baskets for produce and a row of drawers below for long-term storage (like bulk canned/jarred goods, kitchen bags, etc). On the other side of the room, we also have a pantry fridge that we keep a little colder than our normal fridge/freezer and use for bulk cold storage (like cheeses, milk, apples, citrus, frozen veggies and various refrigerated/frozen items that store well over a longer period). We stock up every few months on these items which helps reduce the size of our regular fresh grocery orders. Sources (and a pic of the other side of the room) are on our website’s “Pantry Sources” page. (Cat cameo by Nyx) — Shop your screenshot of this pic with the Shop.LTK app.
