Arriving in New York last week we weren't quite prepared for the heatwave we would be landing into. Temperatures often reached 45°C  and it was hard to find anywhere to cool down in such a concrete jungle We knew we just had to hit the beach to feel that sea breeze and that left us with the choice of Montauk Long Island or Coney Island. I don't know if you know this about me but it was actually in Montauk that I got bitten with the tick that gave me Lyme disease and seriously disabled me so I wasn't sure I was quite ready for that walk down memory lane. Montauk is truly beautiful but just happens to be rife with deer and the ticks carrying Lyme So we decided on Coney Island and I'm really glad we did. Sure it's a little tacky but I think that is what appealed to me and we just had so much fun. Sometimes it is fun to just let loose and laugh, act like a kid and eat junk food all day So what about you? What was the last thing that really made you laugh?
