The best kids off-shore life vest we could find after hours of research.

When you spend multiple days out sailing and you live on your boat, getting a child to wear a life vest can be difficult and somewhat uncomfortable for them. This is the life vest we chose to go with for Audrey.

It fits 20-50 kgs (55 lbs to 110 pounds) and ages 8-15 years who fit within that weight range. It is inflatable, and ultra light weight.

Do you have an RV or Camper? Or perhaps you live in your boat like us?! In tiny spaces there tends to be less insulation so combating condensation is a real battle. While we were away, for winter storage, we used DampRid and it really did the trick. We came back to no mold or mildew and those things half full of water! 😂 but when we got back to living on the boat, our problems with condensation came right back. We heard Den-Dry was a good option to help with condensation underneath our beds and so far so good! As many of you gear up for the summer and start taking road trips and extended holidays. This is our galley aka kitchen. It’s not 100% finished but it’s coming along 😃. Alex was able to use the clamps we had (backwards) to epoxy in the magnetic blocks that are now holding our @gneissspice jars up. ⁣

We’re trying to use the containers as our dry good storage, and since they have to sit out I found some cute labels off of Etsy. I’m hoping it won’t feel crazy cluttered if things are somewhat cohesive like this.⁣

I originally wanted white walls to contrast the black windows but Alex said absolutely no more white, so the compromise was grey. It’s growing on me now :) Definitely wanted to keep with lighter colors to brighten up the space and make it feel a little bigger. I definitely think it helped. ⁣
