Raising the BAR for myself and trying my best to reduce my plastic waste. Plastic never completely goes away, which means every shampoo bottle we’ve ever used still exists somewhere on Earth and will be here longer than any of us ever will be. Even containers that claim to be recyclable, usually never get used again and instead end up sitting in landfills or polluting waterways. In an attempt to reduce my plastic waste, I’ve been using shampoo bars for the past 8+ months. This heart-shaped one is under $5 and available at @target! Considering I haven’t gotten my hair cut in 15 months, I’d say it passes the test! Tomorrow is #EarthDay, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be kind to Mother Earth every day of the year. Laughing at what a laGOON Elvis was being during our adventure walk yesterday. It’s been awhile since we’ve gone on a hike, so his nose was working in overdrive the entire time!
