Reframe your Monday mindset. You’re doing great. 💗 Weekends get me. I so much look forward to spending time with my family and even having some time for myself to relax. At the same time though the weekends feel like the only time I have to really get my life together (cleaning, organizing, errands). It’s a constant mental balancing act between wanting to be present for all of these moments especially with Maddox and taking care of myself while also keeping everything around the house together. Crohn’s also can cause me to feel a lot more exhausted and need more down time than I’d like, but I have to listen to my body to avoid feeling a lot worse off. Monday mornings always have me reflecting on what “didn’t get done” when I should be celebrating in the things I got to enjoy. It’s so hard to move past my inner critic telling me I’m not enough for not accomplishing enough at home, but years from now I want to remember Maddox’s smiles and I guarantee he won’t give a shit if the laundry was put away or not. 😝 . . . . . . . . http://liketk.it/3bBX1 @liketoknow.it #liketkit
