I wanted this laundry room to feel calm and actually functional — not just a place we rush through. We kept the palette really soft and neutral, layered in textures, and focused on the little details that make everyday routines feel prettier.

I designed these custom laundry labels to keep everything cohesive (because nothing ruins the vibe like mismatched packaging 🙃) and I listed them on Etsy so you can use them in your own laundry room too.

And one of my favorite little upgrades? I DIY’d the dryer top tray to create a clean folding surface and catch-all moment — it makes the whole space feel more custom and intentional.

The older I get, the more I realize my mom was right about almost everything.

The little things really do change how a home feels. Opening the curtains in the morning. Soft lighting at night. Making things feel cozy before people come over. My biggest home ick is harsh overhead lighting. It kills the ambiance and somehow makes every room feel cold no matter how much decor you add.

I’m obsessed with layered lighting that makes a space feel cozy, expensive, and actually lived in. I added the @Goveelife Uplighter Lamp and now I physically cannot go back. My phone dying mid–antiquing trip wasn’t on my bingo card… but somehow this fixed everything.
