Seriously. My skinnnnn. A few weeks in and I seriously feel like my skin is happier. I’ve never worn foundation, my preferred makeup routine is as minimal as possible. Today I did it in just over a minute. I’d rather take care of my skin and let my complexion flow naturally, than fake it with cosmetics.

Fave butter soft leggings again today. Motivation Monday sneakers bc I get 200% more done when I wear sneakers around the house. My daily smoothie has three main powders in it and I have them to thank for filling me up each day, lengthening and strengthening my hair and nails, bringing elasticity and healing power to my muscles and joints, and much more! Linking them below if you need them!

Monday mood…

Britney book for pick up line, hydration nonstop, old and cold gas station coffee concoction, bags under my eyes because I was up all night bouncing between two of the four kids, bloated stomach beyond because menstruation is around the corner, and always a kid’s water bottle in my hand. Heading out the door and all my hands were full by the time I realized I didn’t have shoes on so Socks n Stocks it is. And normally these jeans are mom comfiest, but even they are tight today with the level of PMS bloat I have today. Already ruptured one ovarian cyst this weekend, really hoping more don’t follow. And through all that, what you get is a mirror selfie with a smile because, honestly, today is a good day regardless of it all. Hope you’re having a good Monday!

The level to which I need to clean this dang mirror. Today’s tasks: his & hers time at the gym, swim lessons for kids, and some errands maybe later in the day. My hair needs to be washeth, badly. Seizing the opportunity by putting some elixer oil into the ends to moisturize and top knotting for the morning stuff.

Cleaning Tools! What to use where, and why! I am so split in the middle here between, I want to keep things simpler and I also want the most efficient tool for the job because, while I LOVE decluttering, cleaning is not a fave past time for me.

This is my breakdown for FAVE cleaning linens/supplies:

Swedish dish cloths. Counter wiping, daily surface cleaning, spill absorbing, and anything a paper towel would ever do. If you have a home prone to spills, this tool is a MUST. Compostable, washable, reusable, SO good for the planet!

Wand bristle brush. For any hand wash only dishes. saves my hands from water exposure and bonus, easy to toss in dishwasher to keep sanitized/clean. Mine is made if upcycled, recyclable material!

Turkish tea towel. Dish drying and hand drying, these are so light, super absorbent, and dry SO fast! I had to hand wash all dishes for over a year while our dishwasher was on back order. And having hand dried all those dishes for a family of six, I fully recommend these towels. Bonus, they’re cute too!

Microfiber cloth and polish cloth. All household cleaning, dusting, bathrooms, spot cleaning, mirrors and glass, anything and everything “cleaning.” They work so well. I pair them with a 1:4 vinegar:water mix and clean almost any surface in our home (do your research first, vinegar is NOT recommended for some surfaces).

I will go to battle to defend these four tools. I’ve been using them religiously for years now and they’ve all held the test of time.

Travel + Moisturize! These are the two products I keep in my purse right now to habit stack some cuticle + hand moisturizing while waiting in the car. Which happens multiple times a day with all these kids! 🙃😂

Moisturizer first with this roller ball cuticle oil, it hasn’t leaked for me ever and I keep it right in my purse which I toss all around!

Then slug a protective moisture barrier on top with this hand ointment to lock in that cuticle oil and let it do its work!

GLASS FILES!

This foot file changes the game people! If you got this and didn’t love it I would be shocked. I’ve tried everything. And this is legit magic.

A glass nail file is your best friend. It’s delicate and smooth in your nail, unlike a traditional emery board file which can cause breaks, tears and peeling. I purchased the linked three pack in 2019 and didn’t replace until 2023. I love the single Boba Fide file linked below much more than the original three pack, but you really can’t go wrong with either.
