Your new fiddle leaf fig deserves the best start — and it all begins before it even comes inside. Here are the 3 things I always do first: 1️⃣ Check and refresh the soil. Bad soil = unhappy fiddle. Soak the root ball, remove the old soil, and repot into fresh well-draining soil with good drainage. 2️⃣ Clean the leaves. Soak, clean, and wipe them down so they can actually breathe and absorb light. 3️⃣ Don’t prune just yet. I know it’s tempting but wait 4 to 6 weeks — pruning too soon will stress it out. Once it’s pest-free, it comes inside immediately and finds a bright indirect light spot. 🌞 Save this for the next time you bring home a fiddle leaf fig. 🌿 fiddleleaffig plantcare planttips houseplants plantmom LTKOver40 LTKHome LTKBeauty
