Last week I talked a little bit about the nuances of paint in my stories. These two photos are another perfect example of how the same paint can look different depending on the cardinal direction of a room, and the items in it.
Did you know that in north facing rooms, gray paint can sometimes look either green or blue? Yep. This Kendall Charcoal Gray by @benjaminmoore looks blue in my north-facing living room. But the blazing sun from my southern exposed dining area brings out the full richness of the gray (which actually has a slight green undertone)
Despite the rising cost of EVERYTHING (including paint), painting is still the most affordable way to dramatically change the look of a space. Getting the color right is the tricky part.
