• Ann Taylor belted taper ankle pants 00P - my color is from a prior year but I’ve been wanting to get these in all the new neutral colors and burgundy. AT sizing in general runs a little big so I have the belt tightened to help with fit. Very classic ankle pant.

• Quince shrunken cashmere sweatshirt xs - slightly more petite friendly than their regular cashmere crewneck, great everyday layering staple. Another similar cut I really love and fits smaller than Quince is the linked J.Crew sweater . I size up to Xs in the J.Crew one

Big Ugg / winter boot sale! Both comfy with no breaking in needed. For socks, I love Bombas quarter or calf socks with light cushioning for an everyday sock. For a warmer winter sock I have the thicker Aritzia wool cotton socks in XS / S linked and on sale.

• Ugg Adirondack is a heavy duty winter weather boot suitable for cold, damp and snowy days. I take 5.5 and they keep your feet warm and dry. If between sizes, maybe go up because these are lined all inside the foot area including the insole. I have 5.5 in these and they’re very toasty warm. You can wear the upper cuff folded down or up.

• For a more everyday winter “fashion” boot , the other pair are Blondo Natasha Faux Shearling Cuff Waterproof boots. I have 5.5 and there is still room for thicker socks Love the Zipper side closure for easy on and off.

A breakdown of the Aritzia down coat styles since all of them are on sale! I find these to be a great look for less option if you like the slim fit, warmth and lightweight aspect of Mackage down coats.

The Superpuff down puffer comes in regular and snug fit, and 4 different lengths.

Also with faux fur, or without for the hood trim

Fit: regular or SuperSnug. SuperSnug is slim fit through the torso and sleeves. Some opt to size up.

Regular fit is looser and straighter cut, some ppl opt to size down on this one.

Lengths: I like Mid on me for a petite friendly option, or long for extra warmth in north east winters!

These are all lightweight but warm, water resistant and wind resistant

Trying on the sale Aritzia Connor wrap coat, one of their classics that come back each year.

This is the shorter version, and I’m trying on xxs which is slim fit and flattering on me with sleeves a tad long.

It also comes in a longer length which I personally like since I prefer midi lengths

For fabric choices, there is melton or virgin wool which is thinner and more slim fit looking , and also wool cashmere which feels slightly thicker with a plush hand feel

• J. Crew Daphne coat - I take size 00 petite. This one is a textured wool for with no lining in the torso, only sleeves . The Daphne is designed this way and has always been made this way, just FYI for those who prefer a lining. Petite is a tailored fit on me and sleeves on jcrew petite coats run shorter

• Aritzia slouch coat - I take size xxs short (petite). Very warm, oversized fit. Many shoppers size down. Generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Coat is a plush, thick warmer coat but it doesn't feel heavy.

My Always pans are on sale with built in metal steaming trays and wooden spatulas included. The bamboo wooden steamer is sold separate, but the built-in metal steamer works great for every day veggie steaming etc and we used it a ton to make baby food!

• My pans here are several years old, but my mom just got another one, the 2.0 version, and says it’s been improved in a few aspects. It is now oven safe and she said the non stick surface also works better

If you do a lot of Asian style cooking like sauteeing , stir frying, braising dishes and also steaming these have served our needs perfectly over the years. Both our moms use them regularly as well. I would not use them for anything that requires strong non stick surface or for high heat searing ie steak, fish etc bc those will wear out the non stick. We damaged the nonstick surface on one of our pans this way unfortunately.

• we bought the add on wooden steamer basket (comes with parchment paper liners) for steaming buns and stuff but you don’t need it for everyday steaming

For everyday steaming these pants each come with a metal steaming insert tray with handles !

• always Pot is also shown but to be honest I don’t really use that one much, mostly just the pans.
