How to style a slip skirt for cold weather

• SM knee high suede boots size 5. These are fairly petite friendly on me with a gap at the opening but fits better than most options I’ve tried in terms of calf height and width! The look is classic and elongating.

Note that the calf size increases as the foot size goes up - be sure to check the detailed measurements on their website

Casual weekend outfit with my sneakers that were just restocked

•Adidas sambas sneakers - they fit a little bigger than their unisex chart. For me, men's size 4.5 fits closer to a women's 6. Men's 4 fits like a women's 5 to 5.5. There are two very similar cloud white options that were both restocked.

I also linked the comfy cotton ankle socks I wear with my sneakers. I buy the kids medium for my size 5/5.5 feet.

•Gap CashSoft skirt - looser fit on me since their sizing starts in xs petite (I typically wear xxs petite) I folded up the waistband to help it fit a bit better. The xs petite measures 13.25” across the waistband and has a 26” length. The CashSoft knit fabric is very soft and cozy!

I usually wear xxs in their dresses and want to note that if the item has no elastic stretch at the waist, then the waist may run small. Some of their rompers in size xxs are snug at the waist on me and would fit someone 24-24.5” at the waist.

Their pieces feel special and unique in the detail and cut.

I saw the bottom right dress on a mama who was nursing in it and it looked so pretty and comfortable in her!

Very elegant and flattering for the price. Wearing Size XS and it’s loose on me since I'm usually an XXS . Would fit better if it’s tighter but this is comfortable.

Armholes dip lower on me, so either wear a bra that you don't mind peeking out like a lace bralette or same-tones bra. The armholes would probably be too low on someone shorter than me (I’m 5 feet tall)

• Topshop faux leather leggings – still the best petite “leather” leggings I’ve found. A 0P runs small and fits me perfectly (like 00P), not too tight, with a soft, lightly fleeced lining.

• gentle souls suede booties. Size up half if between sizes. I took 5.5. These are good quality and so comfortable!

Found them fully stocked at Kenneth Cole with free ship and returns are a reasonable $3.50 fee per item

• Bernardo waterproof puffer – Petite friendly puffer on sale for under $100 in tons of colors. My mom has this, so I’ll try to show it when she visits soon! The cut and chevron-style piecing on this creates a flattering, shapely silhouette and the length is great on petites hitting at my mid / lower thighs. I find it to be pretty warm, and the XS has room on me for a thicker sweater layer.

• Cole Haan weatherproof boots – I have prior year’s version as a commuting bootie.

Biggest discount of the year on the our place always pan.

My mom, MIL and I use this regularly for stir fry, sautéing, one pot dishes, and steaming. I gifted it to them two years ago and they still love it.

The steaming tray and spatula are included.

I have the summer maxi dress (top middle) in xxs and it’s beautiful just needed taking the neckline up since I’m petite 5 feet tall.

I can fit some items in xxs with adjustable straps or if it appears shrunken fit on the model. Some xxs if non stretch is pretty snug at my bust.

The first two are look for less options to black suede boots I shared recently

• pippa boot is a stretch faux leather with slim shaft for easy tucking into pant leg openings. Feels TTS, i would need a 5/5.5 which I didn’t find in store

• Dolly boot on sale. This is a stretch shaft faux suede bootie with a more squared toe and block heel , feels comfortable but I did not find my size 5/5.5

•the ugg style shearling bootie in store had a tag that said genuine leather! But online the same boot says faux suede so perhaps it was tagged wrong in store. Felt thick and plush tho esp for the price .
