I used to share a lot more fashion on here then I do now. And honestly, it’s because pos partum mom bod can feel super discouraging. I know i talked about this a little yesterday but for the sake of full transparency — my pre-baby jeans don’t fit, my shirts are too small for my new mom boobs, I have a softer tummy, thicker butt and nothing fits like it used too. So ya know what I did? I bought bigger sizes. I know, I know, what a concept. 😂 But, for a lot of my life, buying bigger sizes would have triggered something deep inside of me. It would have triggered feelings of self doubt, disordered eating issues, and more. But when I stopped trying to fit my new body into old clothes, I started to feel so much better. I started to feel more confident. So while I’m still working on getting in shape physically, and feeling better about my post baby bod mentally, I decided to stop making myself feel self conscious and bad every day because my old clothes don’t fit like they used too. As moms, we’re asked to fit into a lot of boxes, our clothes shouldn’t be one that makes us feel trapped, inferior, or anything but the badasses we are. 💪🏻 🖤 http://liketk.it/3g6Cw #liketkit @liketoknow.it
