Ok, Picture this… We’re best friends, we go to Nashville together for the Ella Langley concert. We get ready, ask each others opinions on outfits & layer on the turquoise. We bee-bop around the hotel room dancing, and singing along to her music because that’s how we set the vibe. We two step with our significant others in the entryway & have a few cold drinks. Then we make our way to the concert… And not only do we see Ella, but we also see Mae Estes, Gretchen Wilson, Hardy, and MORGAN WALLEN! As someone with rosacea, and skin that tends to get a little angry & dry during winter, I have been loving both of these lately!!
Not only do they actually do what they say and hold my make up on all day, but the red rescue really helps my cheeks to even out before I start applying my make up, and the Dewey glaze primer helps hydrate my face a little bit so that I don’t look super dry and cakey!

We had a basketball tournament day followed by a little bowling & this ‘fit was the perfect thing for being comfy but still feeling cute!
(I’m not made for the cold! But a pop of color, a beanie, and some fun patterns definitely help)

This rodeo themed hoodie is so soft! a new pattern in my fave hoodies! It is a men’s, and I did the medium tall! I could literally live in this thing 24/7!

These barrel pants add a little flare with a fun shape and print! I did my true size large! (& the waist band has a little stretch even though they are true denim material!!🙌🏼)

Seasonal saddies haven’t gotten me yet so the seasonal sicklies have come full force in their place & are currently attacking our household.

One thing about me is I just feel so much better, in a happier mood, and more productive, if I get fully ready for the day! And trying something new just adds a little extra dopamine boost to that!
(That’s not always a possibility but today it was so I was clinging to that one ounce of “let’s do this” that I had)

This liner did not disappoint & it has stayed all day! I definitely understand the hype!

I think I need to try some other colors now!

Something about me is… I’ve been a 13 girl since 6th grade.
(My girl 13 really gets a bad rap 🤣)

I got the number by total coincidence my first year of volleyball, but somehow it followed me into varsity the next year. All new jerseys, no choice in the matter, but still… she found me.
Then club ball (even though our team was a mix from all different schools, somehow no one else ever picked it), and even college ball … the only graduating senior was #13 when I came in, so guess who got to have it? 😉

Then came 7•13•13, one of my favorite days, our wedding date (by design of course), and now I swear I see it everywhere.
Receipts. Seats I don’t pick. Random tickets. Parking spots.
If there’s a 13 in sight, it’ll find me. 😂

Oh, and one of my favorite Bible verses? 1 Corinthians 13:13. ✨
(It’s a good one, nice little reminder for us all 💋)

Anyway, people like to say 13 is unlucky, but I like to think it’s just misunderstood.
Because it’s always been lucky for me.
Or maybe I’ve just always had a thing for finding the good in unexpected places or rooting for the underdog.

So when I spotted this camo tee? Yeah… it instantly came home with me.

True-size 11 in the Vans, large in the tee (Amazon 5-pack… elite🙌🏼), denim shirt I went up one to an XL for that comfy-but-cute vibe.

It is made oversized but I did size up one for an even bigger fit, you’d be good with your true size too though!
This can easily be dressed up or down & worn for church, a night out, or even just to snuggle on the couch!

What I wore today as a 35 yr old , 6’1”, SAHM

These boxer pants are so cool! I love the boxer trend personally for summer, and this is a fun way to carry it into fall! Plus they’re so comfy & I like the mid rise waist on them!
They are a techincallyyyyy a teeny bit short on me (I have a 35.5 in inseam) , but I like how they show off the sneakers!

This boyfriend fit denim shirt is a go-to for me in the fall. I’ve had this for a few years now and I just keep going back for it time after time! I sized up 1 to an XL for an even more oversized fit!!

I did also link similar shoes to these (this color is no longer available) & a similar tee (I like to cut the hem & sleeves , then pull to roll)

I am a fan of anything that feels like Jammies but can look put together. But what’s your opinion?! Are you here for the boxer pants trend? Or not so much?
