I decorated our 9' Alpine from King of Christmas with one goal in mind... gentle glistening light. And the secret was using three different sizes of icicles. Each one adds something totally different to the tree. ❄️ Small icicles: These sit closer to the branches and catch the twinkle lights They’re what give that soft up close shimmer that feels warm and inviting. ❄️ Medium icicles: These create flow They guide your eye around the Alpine and make the whole tree feel balanced and full without overwhelming it. ❄️ Large icicles: These bring the drama. Hang them where the lights naturally hit and they’ll glow with the prettiest cottage sparkle.
