My go-to stain remover!! Kolton’s grandma shared her secret stain weapon with me and it’s the only thing that gets out grease, grass, berry, dirt and, in this case, chocolate stains out!

This shirt had already been washed before I saw the stains and Krud Kutter got them out no problem! Just spray and scrub with a toothbrush!

My mom shared her kitchen must-have’s with me and I’ve put her favorites together!! She cooked a from-scratch meal for us every day my entire childhood and began her love for cooking as a newlywed with my dad over 30 years ago! She is definitely my go-to cooking expert. Her must-have list has some similar things to mine but also quite a few different ones too!! She’s the best cook I know 💗

Moms know the craziness of trying to cook dinner while having little ones at your feet! It can definitely be chaotic but I always have a few things handy to keep my kids entertained while I cook. Sometimes they get to watch a little TV, but I try to leave that as a last resort. Here are some things my kids enjoy doing while I’m cooking:

-Sticker books and the “pop” books
-Pretending to cook themselves! They each have their own little embroidered apron with their name and they get out toy food, bowls, spatulas, muffin tins and more and pretend to cook! Sure it’s more for me to clean up, but they love it. I’ll put an ice cube or two in the bowls for them to “mix” and they love that.
-Help mama cook! We don’t have any “toddler towers,” just an old step stool I’ve had since college, and they climb up that and help me cook at the counter. They use their toddler cutting set and help chop vegetables, peel garlic or help me add spices to things!

And, of course, cooking from A Month of Dinner means easy dinner recipes that come together quickly and are toddler and hungry-husband approved! 💛

Here are a whole bunch of super random things I use (almost) every day! From my favorite pajamas and walking shoes to my cheap hair clips and laundry detergent. These are my everyday essentials! Some items are a “splurge” for me but things I will use until they stop working or I wear holes in them, some are inexpensive items I go through quickly and some things are little “treats” that help me make my house a home!

It’s really a lot of cleaning-related items because, well, I spend a lot of time cleaning 😂

When it comes to my morning routine, I’m a bit of a nut 😬 I do the same thing literally every morning and have for 4+ years. Granted, it depends on when my children wake up, but I wake up at 5:00am, put on my robe or loungewear, make my bed, make a cup of coffee, light a cozy candle, get back in my made bed and then dive into these 3 books. I do these books 2-3 days a week and do “work” or household administrative items the other mornings!

The parenting book and devotional are both single-page reads, so they’re very digestible and easy, but great takeaways. Write the Word is a scripture-focused journal. Each entry has a verse and then you have 2 pages to write whatever is on your heart—a blank canvas! These are my favorite journals.
