When my husband was in the hospital I didn’t want to bug him, so I kept myself busy at home… and somehow ended up cleaning out our dryer vent. I always thought the lint catcher was enough, but once I unscrewed it there was so much packed lint inside. I scraped my hand trying to reach it, tried a duster, even used a long teaspoon.
