EASY 3 INGREDIENT CHRISTMAS APPETIZER This caprese salad candy cane is so delicious and festive and makes the perfect appetizer for any holiday gathering! INGREDIENTS: • Sliced tomatoes (I used about 4 large beefsteak tomatoes) • Sliced mozzarella (I used about 3 (8oz) balls of mozzarella) • Pesto (I used a 7 oz store bought container) DIRECTIONS: 1) Start by placing a slice of tomato on a cutting board or serving tray. Place a dollop of pesto on top, followed by a mozzarella slice next. 2) Repeat the process continuing to layer while making a candy cane shape. 3) Serve with remaining pesto. ***PRO TIP*** After slicing tomatoes, salt them & leave in a colander to drain any excess juices.
