Went for a preppy casual look for dinner last night. The blouse is a classic look, but it’s made of a wrinkle resistant synthetic material which makes it easier to layer under pieces. Runs TTS (wearing a small). The jeans come in lots of different washes-not sure which exact one this is and run big, so size down one. My belt is reversible and in hindsight I should have flipped it to the tan side. My jewelry is all from the @kendrascott demi fine collection and they layer so nicely together! Swap out the jeans for trousers and you have an easy work look too!

So many great warm weather finds at @Nordstrombeauty! I’m wearing shade 5 in the Hourglass skin tint, shade translucent medium in the hourglass powder, shade cloud set in the Kosas powder, and Sunlit in the Kosas SPF. We have a “cool” day (it’s in the 50’s!!) so I got to wear my current favorite super soft cardigan! It only comes in different colored stripes, and I say only because if it came in solids I would get more! The metal buttons are really plastic which I prefer so they don’t pull on the fabric and the pockets are faux. It will carry through into the summer draped over my shoulders or tied around my neck for a little more coverage too! Runs tts-wearing a small. I have found the absolute perfect set for travel days, running errands, working from home…you’re going to want this in every color (I’m wearing it in “apricot”)! The top has cleverly placed seaming in the front to make it look more tailored and has an easy zip at the back to get it over your head without smudging your makeup. Pants have a self tie drawstring waist AND pockets. The material is buttery soft and while it’s great for travel days, it can easily be dressed up by changing the shoes, adding accessories and throwing on a jacket or blazer. One of my favorite blouses from last year is back!! The material is lightweight and the colors make me happy every time I put it on. We’re moving into warm weather and that means small changes to my makeup line up. I like to go with lighter liquid complexion products, brighter shades of blush and glossy lips! The lighting didn’t really showcase it, but this satin jumpsuit really shined when I wore it to dinner over the weekend at the Trick Rider restaurant at the new @omnipgafriscoresort. I decided to add to the outfit with shiny silver shoes and purse too. If pink isn’t your thing, it also comes in black, navy and olive green and runs TTS (wearing an XS). The dinner itself was good, but the desserts were so over the top that it was ridiculous. Word of advice-one dessert can probably feed 6 people or more! We most definitely should not have ordered two! The one with the sparkler is called the Holy Cow and it was a made up of ice cream, donuts, brownies, chocolate pop rocks, cotton candy, and sundae fixings all inside a giant chocolate cookie bowl. The presentation was very cool but it was just too much food!

For those of you looking for a budget friendly version of the Spanx AirEssentials jumpsuit, I found one! In fact, I just ordered it in a light blue as well. I like that it runs shorter in the legs, so all my petite friends will love it! It has pockets, a drawstring waist, and it essentially feels like wearing an adult onesie. It can easily be dressed up with accessories and a jacket too. It has an elastic buttonhole at the back of the neck that you can do on your own and is regular bra friendly too! I’m wearing a size small. Best part-it’s under $50!

It’s always better to wear resort wear at a resort! We’ve been staying at the @omnipgafrisco for the weekend with family and even as a non-golfer, I’ve had a fantastic time! We’ve done a lot of long walks on the trails around the property, lounged at the adults only pool, spent quality time at the fire pits every night and have made it our mission to eat at as many dining options as possible.

The outfit itself is also perfect for warm weather at home too-no need to wait for a vacation to wear it! The crinkled gauze is very travel friendly too. I’m wearing the top on an XS and the pants in XS Petite Waiting for some warmer temps before I throw on the sandals instead of my favorite loafers.

I think it’s a pretty auspicious start to a trip when your travel outfit matches your luggage. 😆 I love this outfit so much that this is the 4th color option I’ve ordered. You can wear the pieces separately but they come as a set and also worked for dinner out that night. The denim jacket is super soft and I still need that layer in the evenings. The suitcases are…perfect! I’ve used the carry on before (love the front flap where I can stick my laptop) but the full size suitcase is amazing. It definitely allowed me to overpack for a weekend trip!
