As we approach the end of a season and the start of a new one with anticipating a new little baby in the house and the start of school in a couple weeks, I can’t help but feel the tension between the two. I want to squeeze every last second out of summer, but I’m also looking forward to the schedules and routine of school. I want so badly to meet our new little baby, but I don’t want to wish away our current days of independent kids and solid nights’ sleep. It’s hard to live almost wishing for both, to truly embrace the season I’m currently in.
