#PSBOOKREVIEW The next review came a lot sooner because I only DNF’d one book. KISS RIVER: This is book 2 from the Keeper Trilogy. If you love family drama and sordid secrets, you will love anything by Diane Chamberlaine honestly. This one did not disappoint. 3.5 ⭐️ ———————————————————— MALIBU RISING: Forever obsessed by Taylor Jenkins Reid brain, like how does she come up with such wonderful stories. This book has already been picked up to be a series and I’ll be binging that. It’s the story of a set of sibling fending for themselves because of an extremely selfish father and heartbroken mom. 5⭐️ ———————————————————— WHO’S THAT GIRL: Mhairi McFarlane is an author I’m slowly going through her back catalogue. Edie got caught kissing a groom on his wedding day. Needless to say, everyone hates her. This book reminded a little of Nothing Hill. 4⭐️ ———————————————————— THE PERFECT COUPLE: This book was the perfect beach read. A maid of honor is found dead on the day of the wedding and everyone is a suspect. 4 ⭐️ ———————————————————— DETRANSITION, BABY: I consider myself an open minded person but that’s mostly due to reading and exposing myself to realities different from my own. And boy was the world in this book foreign to me. It’s about a Trans woman, her love life and desire to be become a mother, but also so much more. 5 ⭐️ ———————————————————— HER MOTHER’S SHADOW: This was the final book in the Keeper’s trilogy and I really enjoyed it. I think the first book in the trilogy is the best but the other two gave me some much needed closure, so I really enjoyed them as well. 3.5 ⭐️ ———————————————————— All books available via LINK IN BIO.
