I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. Did you know that there is a difference. I pondered on wether or not I’d been 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥 or simply 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮 when he speaks. ⁣ When we hear something spoken to us we don’t always do it with the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐝. When we listen intently, there should be a 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧. ⁣ ⁣ God has me in a space where I’m trying to hear him to listen to what is being said. I want to carry out 𝐇𝐈𝐒 will. So often times we don’t listen for instruction from God on how to handle our troubles 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 we respond in 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳, 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 or even 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳. I promise you God has been trying to get your 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in some area of your life to assist you and help you navigate through it 𝐁𝐔𝐓 are you taking time to listen?⁣ His instruction may even save your 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄. It may 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄 you unnecessary heartache or even 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 on what is coming that you should prepare for. ⁣ Let me encourage you to take time today and 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍 for the voice of God. ⁣ He IS his word so when he speaks, 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧!
