It’s that time of the month, and every time Ms. Flo❣️ visits, she wreaks havoc on my skin😖

Weirdly enough, I am actually thankful for this round of breakouts & purging😬🙃

As mentioned before, I am on a journey to rebalance my hormones—not just for my skin health, but for my overall health.

And I had to be honest with myself: this is the least healthy I’ve been in a while, probably since losing my job years ago.

Over May and June, I decided to take control of my health by adding the gym back into my routine, reducing stress levels, and reverted back to intentional, balanced eating.

And y’all, when I tell you my skin started healing faster, I had more energy, and I’m starting to feel like my old self again. I almost jumped for joy when Ms. Flo❣️ came along because it means we are on the right path to a balanced, healthy lifestyle again🥹

all I had to do was get out of survival mode, and start pouring back into me💫

Hyperpigmentation has always been a struggle for me growing up😫😖

I even went as far as calling the darkest mark on my cheek my 'birthmark' or 'mood ring' because it got darker when I wasn’t feeling well 🤒or even during my time of the month🤧
