Clothes don’t make us feel.

It’s what we think about them that does.

What are you thinking about what you’re wearing today?

Whatever you are thinking is creating how you feel in your outfit, not the clothes.

Because someone else in the same outfit most likely would feel differently.

Be aware of what you think about your clothes, and it will show you why you are feeling the way you do in them.

This is something that is in your control, that if you want to, you can change.

Be aware, be open, and be honest with yourself.

How you utilize your clothes is invaluable.

It gives you a glimpse at the life you are creating.

Most people I work with at the beginning aren’t even fully aware of the life they are creating simply from the way they dress.

For example are you using clothes to:
hide yourself?
please other people?
or to fit in?

Do you feel unseen? Overlooked? Or unappreciated?

The energy you put in to getting dressed and the way you use your clothes is a signal for what your thoughts about yourself are.

And those thoughts are creating your life.

What we wear and how we use our clothes is just a really good visible indicator of our thoughts.

It’s more than okay to wear leggings and love them!

Just don’t make them your last resort.

Make them a first choice.

You know you feel comfortable in them so start with them and make them your base for getting creative and finding other pieces you like and new ways to wear them.

Wear them and challenge yourself to wear them differently.

Feeling stuck in your leggings doesn’t have to mean hating them too.

It’s okay to stray from the known.

I love having a morning routine, but when I stop being consistent in mine, I don’t give up on having one, I just know it’s time for change:

I love a cup of hot water in the morning (weird I know, but I love the warmth) and then coffee after so that’s staying the same.

I was journaling before and still am going forward but I’ve decided to be more intentional.

Instead of writing about anything, I’m doing a thought download and then a “self coaching model” on one of the thoughts - as taught by the @lifecoachschool

As well as 10 minutes of visualization after too.

⬇️ and I don’t just mean feeling comfortable…

Comfort is a nice feeling, but start noticing if you actually feel comfort when you’re wearing your “comfortable clothes”.

I personally realized a lot of my comfort clothes were my “lazy” “convenient” “boring” “safe” clothes and that is exactly how I felt in them..

When you focus on feeling good in your clothes it changes what you wear.

All you have to do is notice how you feel when you wear something, and what about it makes you feel beautiful, happy, authentic, vibrant, confident, or any other way you want to feel in your clothes.

You go from plain black leggings to vibrant floral print ones because the simple thought of flowers makes you happy.

You get to feel good, and still be physically comfortable.

When you remove the goal of looking nice, what matters to you when it comes to the clothes you wear?

Any outfit that inspires you pin it. You don’t have to have their clothes, want to wear it all, or be able to buy any of it, just notice if you like something about it and if it gives you “good vibes”.

This is true inspiration.

This is what will actually inspire you to create outfits with what you have.

To buy the things you actually want to create more outfits.

You don’t need to be realistic.

Be so unrealistic, and have fun.

Get inspired and get in touch with what you naturally connect with.
