While I miss my apartment like crazy and am hoping renovations are done soon, I have so enjoyed getting to explore my little area of KC and staying at different places along the way! This one definitely has my heart!

This amazingly versatile and #sustainable dress from @tradlands is perfect for a day spent exploring. It transitions well to a bit dressier look just by adding a belt and changing accessories!
I styled the dress with some beauties from @palapasandals 😍 These sandals are sustainable and hand-woven and oh so comfortable! The perfect transition into fall pieces. I finished the look off with a cognac crossbody bag and a hair scarf ❤️

Purple was one of my alma mater’s school colors and is so pretty to me! I don’t wear it very often but this dress from @sondeflor is the perfect shade of this calming color. I live in these classic dresses from Son de flor and this one in particular is unique because it is from their limited edition collection of hemp fabric dresses! I love getting to explore alternative and #sustainable fabrics. It felt very similar to linen and was perfect for a warm summer day. I styled the dress with some espadrilles, a knit bag from @sook_stainable, flowery hoop earrings, and a purple plaid scrunchie from @itsrooper! All sustainable brands 🥰

❤️So enjoyed some time in KC with my hubby!❤️
We are getting close to starting renovations on our apartment and I am so excited to share when things get going! It will be weird (but fun!) to have to stay at hotels when we visit KC for the next couple months 😅 This weekend’s adventures included visiting lots of art galleries (some with gallery puppies 🥰).
I rented this adorable dress from Nuuly and accessorized with my matching beret and bag! To add a little edge to the look, I wore some combat boots and, in true SJP fashion, some sheer black gloves ❤️

🌸Ready for spring with @sondeflor🌸

@sondeflor dresses are so perfect for layering! This white linen fabric is perfect for all year round. It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer ❤️ It’s also sustainable and eco friendly!

I layered this adorable lilac sweater over the dress and used a belt to tuck it in to create a more proportional look. I accessorized with some lace up booties, a summery white bag, flower hoops, and a cute floral scrunchie!

❤️KC Apartment- Primary Bedroom!❤️

I’m so excited to be sharing another room in our favorite city escape! We are hoping to start renovations in the next month but I wanted to share the spaces with our furniture and decor! I’m excited for you to see the future improvements as well ❤️ This room will be getting a wallpaper accent wall where the blue is now and a new light fixture!
The overall feel of the apartment is a neutral mid-century modern style with bohemian touches for some coziness. I am so excited for what the future holds with this space!

I can’t believe I’ve already been home from lovely Colorado for a week! 😅 Our snow here has almost finished melting away but I am still enjoying the snow through these awesome pictures we got while we were in the mountains. It is just so magical there!

Today’s look was so fun to put together ☺️ I started with this adorable top from @nuuly! This is a great sustainable rental option that uses reusable shipping containers (so no added waste)! This is a great option to use for events and for trying new styles, as you don’t have to commit to buying something that you wouldn’t wear very much. I styled this top with one of the oldest skirts in my closet and accessorized with a vintage bag from @etsy, some black platform heels and a beret ❤️

KC Apartment- Guest Bedroom!

I am so excited to finally be sharing the improvements so far of my favorite place! Today, I’m starting with our guest bedroom. While it is missing some wall art and a wallpaper accent wall, we have this space pretty much finished! For the entire apartment, I went with a neutral mid-century style with bohemian touches to make the space cozy. There will also be a fun pop of color in other rooms once we can find a painter ☺️

🍁A Peek of Fall Colors!🍁

One of my baby trees decided to change colors early this year, so we got to briefly enjoy some fall color before the leaves all dropped off! I am looking forward to the rest of the trees catching up in the next couple weeks.

Gus and I are headed to KC this weekend and plan on shooting the apartment to finally share with you all! Renovations haven’t started yet but I am super excited about the decor and couldn’t wait to share!
