🌍happy international women’s day!👱🏼‍♀️ . it’s been a while since I shared any sort of fun facts about me, and to be honest I’m terrible at those sorts of posts, because even after all this time I’ve been blogging and instagram-ing, I still have a hard time talking about myself! 🙈 but I often get asked about how I got started, so in the spirit of this day and women supporting women, I thought I’d share a few things that have helped me along the way. . if you feel like you don’t know where to start, just start! you will inevitably grow and change over time, so don’t worry if you content is “perfect” right away. there also is no “perfect time” to start. so just start! . find your creative community. I am so grateful to have met many beautiful creative souls over the years who I stay in touch with either through this app or meet up with in real life. getting together irl to get creative and make new content, just for the fun of it, fuels my soul. . don’t be afraid to get in front of the camera! when I first started you would never have see my face in anything I created. but over time [read: as my kids are growing up] it naturally evolved into inserting myself into more photos, and now y’all get to see a lot more of me. 😜 yes it can be awkward (even still is for me!), but allowing your audience to see your face helps them connect with you more as a real person. . these are just some basic tips that I hope will inspire you to start something you are passionate about! I believe there are so many different ways you can go about creating a business and find success.
