Mostly trying to figure out how I can make it darker in here so baby bro will sleep more... we tried a super chic method that involved taping brown sheets to the windows, but my daughter decided they didn’t belong and ripped them down to use as blankets for baby dolls 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 So much for that! Might be a few days late, but that’s how we roll right now. We got this collection of books last year for Advent, and this year we are so excited to revisit them all again! We read one new one each day leading up to Christmas and look forward to the story we are going to hear each day. We also include a daily reading from the Jesus Storybook Bible which tells the story of God’s rescue plan for the world that started all the way back with Adam and Eve! Yes, even the Old Testament points to Jesus our Savior and God’s plan for redemption for all people - and we love sharing that message with our kids. We had the most gorgeous fall weather here in Maryland yesterday and took full advantage! Current bedroom situation, and I’m enjoying how this bassinet takes up way less space than the huge pack and play we used with the middle bro. Sleep is still somewhat elusive right now 😴, and Covid has added an interesting twist that made us decide to isolate again until the nugget is at least 6-8 weeks old. Some days are better than others, but we are getting by! My recovery is going well, too, and I’m getting a lot of renewed use of my @hellotushy bidet 💩 // Baby bro, however, was not too happy that we ran out of his full regimen of newborn size clothing in a day and put him in these jammies 🤣 (Swipe to see).
