Today I’m stripping down and getting real. The last six to nine months have been the most trying time of my life. My mind and body have been to hell and back, but here I am, stronger and happier than ever. Let me explain: . Last year, I ended my 16 year marriage. It was an extremely difficult decision, but one that I should have made many years earlier. I had become a shell of a person. My life was on autopilot and I pushed away every emotion for the sake of my family. Thankfully, I finally saw the light and made a change. It was very hard, but I was able to figure out who I was and what I really wanted out of life. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Why? I quickly stumbled upon my soulmate and my entire life changed instantly. I finally get to experience pure joy, peace, and happiness. Not many people get to go through life with their soulmate, but I found mine and I am never letting go. Believe me when I say, he brought me back to life. There is a spark in my eyes and a feeling in my heart that I could have never imagined. @cameron_crayk is the most incredible man and I am so blessed and grateful to have him by my side forever. We immediately locked each other down and ran to the courthouse as quickly as we could. I am now married to my soulmate, the sexiest man alive, and the most amazing father on earth. #blessed . My mental and emotional well-being was really put through the ringer, so I thought I’d add another element on top of it. Haha. While all of that was going on, I had the bright idea of doing a bodybuilding competition. Let’s just pile it on, right? In August, I signed on with my coach, @shaneheugly and we got to work. This industry is no joke and I really had no idea what the bikini division entailed. About six weeks in, coach said I was ready to compete at a local show in October. I was shocked, because I wasn’t planning on doing a competition until Spring 2020. I told him if he thought I was ready and could be competitive, that I was game. He assured me that I was, so we got down to business. Most people have no idea what body building entails. Continued on comments.
