The colors are meant to convey thoughtfulness and optimism in a year of “strength and hopefulness.” How timely. Yesterday started with joy and ended with pain, but instead of giving more energy to the hateful, violent acts displayed, I'm instead choosing to remain strong, hopeful, and optimistic.
