"Write your best story..." A message I received from a beloved follower during my IG break...and it shook me. Am I writing my best story or just scribbling to keep the momentum going? Watching Hannah publicly proclaim her faith through baptism yesterday was definitely part of my best story as a mom and shepherd of my girls. But I think there's value in the scribbling too. I know there is. Restyling our bedroom dresser feels like scribbling compared to big life events, but it provides a beautiful backdrop to our best story, and THAT is worth writing (or scribbling) about.
