The denim jacket , a cropped shacket design that pairs so well with outfits , wide leg tailored trousers , cotton barrels , dresses and skirts - the shape is winning , A great quality wardrobe workhorse - I’m wearing a medium - still a relaxed fit on me U.K. 14.

And a new colourway in these trousers - such a lovely weighty cotton with good drape thanks to the lyocel, not see through and easy to wear. I’m wearing the 16 long here. If you are curvy or carry weight on your hips you’ll prob need to size up for a relaxed fit.
If you’re less curvy at the hip the leg shape on these trousers should be good for you as they sit straighter through the hip .

You asked about denim shorts
I really like this pair just now - they’re fairly short but not bum flashing!
They are a mid rise - I’m quite long in the rise area , generally they sit just under the belly button.
I buy the curve love even when not as curvy as you get a touch more in the hip which is beneficial in shorts.
Just makes them that bit easier
I wear the 30 waist.
Also a great T shirt style - 100% cotton washed black shade - soft and drapes well - borrowed from the boys and wearing a large for a relaxed but not oversized fit .

Sharing another simple spring outfit formula.
The trousers need no introduction and I know many of you have them already. The extra fine merino knits, great lighter layering pieces for spring - size up for a touch better drape as this yarn hangs well.
Styled with a lightweight funnel jacket - this one in particular is in and out of stock online but there are lots around, I’ll link a few alternatives.

The shoes ! Very comfortable and a lovely quality suede. Charms removable 😉

A beautiful piece at an affordable price point - this leather jacket is incredible - the detailing , the butter soft leather ( yes it’s real!!) the silhouette , the shade.
I mean it’s rivalling jackets 10 times the price, I’m very impressed.
It’s also working pretty well in outfit terms - adding that stylish touch and working as a modern layer with denim, black , navy , khaki, white - wear with tailored trousers to the office , off duty denim or as an extra layer for a nice meal - it’s an all rounder 🙌🏻

I’m wearing the medium which is a good fit on me (uk14) I’d choose a large for a more oversized look.
