We chose @behrpaint 2024 color of the year for our fireplace refresh, and we love how it turned out! #crackedpepper is a black with gray undertones, so you can see a great moody contrast that isn’t overwhelming and still brings a sense of calm…if you know me, you know I’m all about calm lol. Since the fireplace surround is wood trim we opted for a satin sheen for a smooth finish with a bit of shine. It’s also durable and easy to clean! I’m definitely going to need a moody wall or two with this color!

We painted our fireplace mantel black and we love it!! It’s just the right amount of moodiness to contrast with our bright walls. I’m so we took the leap and can’t wait to add more touches of black in other rooms! 🤗❤️

Since we moved in, I had been holding on to this Love wall art until I found the right place to hang them. Aren’t they beautiful? 🥰 They have a minimal design but with such detailed drawings. Adding them to the corner of our master bedroom and over our Moroccan seating area created a nice reminder of being one and always putting love first. ❤️

The mudroom project was a great success! Finally, we can feel at home when we walk into this cozy space! I decided to use accents of black for a beautiful to the white shiplap (can you believe it’s wallpaper 😉) and grayish off-white walls. Now we just gotta keep it this neat 😩😂

I love the sitting area in our master bedroom. Working from home, I like to move around and have different beautiful spaces, where I can work. The lift coffee table in the sitting area easily turns this sitting area into a cozy workspace, then I cuddle up on the loveseat and relax when work day ends. ☺️

Clean lines and simple design…that’s why our morning room is one of my favorite projects. The soft neutrals and metallics give room a slightly formal flair along with our farmhouse 5-light chandelier. The farmhouse wood picnic-style dining table is more casual and creates warmth. A great combination!

The sun is shining bright in our family room today! I love how the modern patterned of our rug gives visual interest without overpowering the space and it complements the charcoal sectional and ottoman so well. The rug is so easy to clean and does so well in a high-activity room like the family room.

One of the best finds I bought last holiday season were our brass pendant lights hanging over the kitchen island. I absolutely love them! ❤️ They add the boldness I was looking for, while still complementing other design elements in our kitchen. The best part is that they were on sale! 🤗Guests who visited after the lights were installed thought that the pendants were there the last time they visited. Now that’s what I call blending. 😂

I can’t believe it’s the holiday season already! I absolutely love this time of year! 🤗 The decorations alone bring so much joy for me. 🥰 This is our Christmas tree from last year 🎄. As a mom of two toddlers, I appreciate being able to simplify things during this busy season. 😊 So, when I discovered Wondershop’s Ornament Sets at Target, I was in love! ❤️

Soaking up sun rays before the weather changes! We were so glad to be able to style our front porch for some relaxing lounging while we wait for our deck and patio to be complete. I love the contrast of the crisp white cushions against the sage exterior and the neutral gray and beige styling to compliment the natural wood!
