this is my 8th year of boo baskets for my girlies, if you haven’t noticed yet I love traditions and making everything extra special. my girls are (8,6,4) for reference. there are many things I started with my oldest and continued to stick with! I give them their boo baskets on October 1, ive had these jelly baskets for 3 years now ($5 at target) and they have held up great. I usually get plates and cups for them to use all season, along with a new book, some treats and some other little things I know they will use. they look forward to these every year now and I love that!

I dress them up with some spiderweb and Halloween fairy lights ✨ and for the first time I finally got official name tags ◡̈

one week until my oldest daughters birthday party, it’s been 2 years since they had parties at home because of our move, but this year she requested just a handful of friends for a themed movie night 🏕️ camp reagan opening soon ♥️

STORY TIME 📖 as someone with sensitive ears, who also has 3 girlies with sensitive ears, it was important to me to find the perfect earrings for them. I have heard great reviews about pip pop post so I tried some out when my middle littles ears got wildly infected, let me tell you the PPP earrings literally healed her ear. I also have always had issues with my second holes and I have zero problems with them in these 👏🏼 so worth it, so cute and not crazy pricey 😍💎

it’s been a busy week prepping for my sisters shower and I am just SO excited to see it all come together. it’s fishing themed but make is aesthetically cute 👌🏼✨ I grabbed some of my fave baby brands that I know she’ll love and added it onto some heavier dirty rope and then used @command hooks to secure, of course!

so sad to close the door on summer this week with back to school, fall sports schedules, and now our sitters are back to college. this was the first summer we really utilized babysitters and we were so lucky to have such great ones that the girls loved!

my brothers wanted to do something for our sister for her shower so i put together the diaper bag she registered for and stocked it with a bunch of essentials. don’t worry, she’s blocked on here for the week 😉 i love giving useful and practical gifts, so I thought this would be something super helpful for her as she starts her journey as a new mama, instead of a diaper cake or a basket full of things. i also need to add a cute @carhartt babe outfit per the request of our brothers 🦌🧡

I went with more of a muted big girl theme. we did not have a party, I decorate the island for their birthdays to surprise them, put out their gifts and get them a cake ◡̈ it’s a tradition that they all love esp as they are getting older 🥹💗

other bday traditions we do:
-decorate and take a pic with their door banner
-get a card, mom and dad both write in it and then we put $20 in, we will give to them on their 18th
-yes day, bday girl picks the day and spends it with mom and dad

we are almost done with mulheren celebration szn, 4 down and 1 to go at the end of september. birthdays and holidays and just celebrating is my absolute FAVE, can you tell what my love language is? 🎁

this is our first year in our new home so i have switched from completely decking out their doors to decorating them and decking out the island. i love traditions and our girls always look forward to their bday signs and and their special theme.

party or not here are things we do for every birthday⬇️
-birthday banner on door, decorate with balloons
-new outfit to wear on bday
-pick a theme for their birthday
-decorate island, add gifts and their special cake
-wake up to surprise, or this year bc liv + reagan are in school i am saving the big island surprise for after school
-yes day with just mom and dad on or around their birthday
-lastly we pick a special card and joe and i each write in it, we put $20 in it and save it. we will give them all 18 on their 18th birthday 🥹

I can’t wait until livvybug gets home today 😍

our middle little is turning SIX! every morning on their birthdays I decorate our downstairs, get them a special outfit, decorate their doors and have cake and presents ◡̈ it’s a special tradition that I hope they always remember and love 💗 I always have them choose a “theme” and run with that.

I also get them a special card and put $20 in it, my husband and i both write special messages and we will give them their cards when they turn 18 🩵
