7 days of fixing boring mum outfits

You don’t have boring clothes.
You’re just dressing on autopilot.

Same jumper. Same jeans. Same “it’ll do” energy.

And it’s not because you don’t care… it’s because you’re busy. You’re thinking about everyone else. You’re getting out the door. You’re surviving the morning rush.

But autopilot dressing slowly chips away at how you feel.

Today’s fix?
✨ Pause for 60 seconds.
✨ Swap one thing.

It’s not about buying more. It’s about styling with intention.

This is Day 1 of my 7-day series fixing “boring” mum outfits — and I promise you, it’s never the clothes.

Save this for tomorrow morning when you’re tempted to reach for the same safe outfit 🤍

You’re not bad at styling.
You’re just stopping at 80%.

You’ve got the outfit but you’re skipping the final 20% that makes it look intentional.

The tuck.
The belt.
The jewellery.
The bag that pulls it together.

That last 20%?
That’s the difference between “I just threw this on” and “she looks put together.”

And it’s not about buying more.
It’s about finishing what you started.

Tomorrow we fix something else 👀

Next time your outfit feels off, ask yourself… have I done the final 20%?
Save this for your next ‘nothing looks right’ moment 🤍

Your shoes are deciding your whole vibe 👀👠

If your outfits feel boring… it might not be your clothes.

It’s your shoes.

The same jeans and top with:
👟 Trainers = relaxed, off-duty mum
🖤 Loafers = polished, put together
👠 Heels = confident, elevated, “she means business”

Nothing else changed.
Just the shoes.

Before you panic-buy something new, look down.
Your whole outfit energy is starting there.

Stop dressing on autopilot. Start styling with intention.

See you tomorrow for Day 4 👀

Baggy jumper + oversized trousers = comfort, but also shapeless. You’ve probably got all the right pieces, but they’re not working together.

Tuck the jumper in, roll the sleeves, use bands to hold them up… suddenly it looks intentional, balanced, and flattering all without changing your outfit.

Oversized can work. Oversized everywhere doesn’t. Define one area and your outfit actually works.

Grab your oversized jumper and trousers and try this tweak. You’ll see the difference instantly ✨

If your wardrobe is full but you still feel meh every morning…
it’s not that you need more clothes.

You’re just playing it safe.

Same colours.
Same shapes.
Same “this will do”.

Safe feels comfortable.
But safe also feels forgettable.

Try one thing this week that feels slightly “too much.”
The bold shoe.
The oversized blazer.
The red lip on a school run.

Style isn’t about being loud.
It’s about being intentional.

And safe isn’t intentional.

Save this for when you’re about to reach for the same outfit again.

It’s not that you need new clothes.
You just need to start dressing the body you actually have.

Same white tee. Same jeans. Same trainers.
But once I defined my waist, balanced my proportions and added structure?

Completely different outfit.

Most women don’t have a wardrobe problem.
They have a proportion problem.

Before you buy anything new — try this.

Save this for when your outfit feels off 🫶🏽

This black blazer?
Same piece.
Three completely different outfits.

Most wardrobes aren't boring they're just on autopilot.

Before you add to cart again, try this:
• Change the base layer
• Swap the shoe
• Adjust proportions
• Ada texture
• Roll the sleeves (always roll the sleeves)

Style isn't about owning more.
It's about seeing more potential in what you already have.

And if this week proved anything...
You were never underdressed.
You were just playing it safe.

Save this for the next time you say "I have nothing to wear."
