The ONE step that costs you absolutely nothing….

But if you skip over it, it could cost you everything.

Lately, I have seen SO many health guru’s promoting the concept of a “quick fix.”

Don’t get me wrong, there are helpful supplements, diets, & health devices out there.

But the truth is, the step I most commonly see skipped, is the internal one. And it is anything but quick.

The slowest one. The cheapest one albeit, but the hardest one. The healing of the mind. The healing of your inner self.

You can’t live a positive life with a negative mind. Period.

You won’t have vibrant health, until you have a vibrant mind.

The average person has 60,000 thoughts per day, and 80% of them are negative. What are we doing to actively combat that?

Some people cringe when I pull out the God card, but God KNEW our minds would be a battlefield. That’s why He told us exactly what to think about in Philippians 4:8
“Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable… think about such things.”

This internal healing is often skipped over because it’s slow, it’s invisible, it can’t be bought and it can’t be sold. There is no special diet or magic supplements for it. Just you, and your thoughts. You, and your patterns, your habits, lifestyle etc. Are they healthy? Is it healing?

A thought that is both empowering & terrifying…. Your mind is either healing you, or hurting you, every day. Did you choose which it is today?

Unfortunately by the time people realize their mind has declined their health, it’s usually very late in the game. Then they want a “quick 30 day reset” to heal their autoimmune disease, nervous system or congested liver. It doesn’t work that way. Trust me, I learned this the hard way.

Play the long game. Heal your mind. Develop healthy habits. You can be confident that healing unhealthy patterns absolutely IS healing you, you may not see the results next week, and that’s okay. Take care of your body, because it’s the only one you get ❤️

Anyone can homestead. You don’t need 100 acres.

There’s no right or wrong way. And if you asked 10 different homesteaders the same question, more than likely you’d get 10 different answers.

It can be whatever it means to you. Where’s your passion?

In an apartment, I learned to cook from scratch, and buy in bulk.
In a neighborhood, I learned to keep chickens, and grow some herbs.
