Today is SUCH a Monday. The rain is coming down heavily & it’s taking all my energy with it.

I had a million plans of productivity & creation for last week. Instead I honored myself & listened to my subconscious that was begging for a break. When you’re tired after 5 days of rest your body is trying to tell you something. I am going to honor her via meditation tonight & tap into what she’s trying to tell me.

I’ve been reflecting a ton on my life this Sunday.

During times of scarcity & struggle for so many I look around at my life with so much gratitude. I am thankful to the universe every single day for the people it’s blessed me with, the gorgeous home I reside in & the life I’ve created.

I’ve been taking steps back lately to really enjoy my life, relax & reset during one of the most stressful times a year & it’s done wonders.

Dressing up for myself is so incredibly important in the winter months.

Getting dressed in a way that makes me feel cute really helps make me feel productive, alert & confident. As the winter months approach us rapidly, impending lockdowns & lonely holiday seasons I urge you even more to do things for yourself that make you feel taken care of.

When you hold yourself to a high standard of care everything else feels elevated too. You can focus on your goals with clarity & show up for your loved ones knowing you’ve filled your own cup with love first.

Self care looks different for everyone. Looking toward our future as a nation with hope.

I have been filled with dread in the months leading up to this election. Worried for the safety of my loved ones, concerned for my own rights & down right disturbed by all the hatred I’ve been seeing. In this same time I’ve seen life long republicans vow to vote blue for a better tomorrow, I’ve seen hands reach out to help each other and I’ve watched people who never used their voices before find the courage to speak up for those who need it most.

We have the ability to care for one another, to do what’s right for the greater good I genuinely believe that to our core we are inherently good. Our current situation & our history won’t show it; but I see it in the faces of the people I surround myself with. I hope you voted for peace, for love & for the hope of change.

Whichever way this election goes our fight isn’t over. We have a long road ahead of us to be unified as one; as I know we have the potential to be. So today; I’ll try to keep smiling & looking toward the future with hope. No one can take that away from us✨

I got to spend a gorgeous fall weekend in a cabin with some amazing women.

We practiced our self care rituals together, laughed, cried & danced around completely free. Yesterday I lead us in a full moon ceremony, one that will resonate with me forever. The moon’s energy combined with that of connected ethereal women was one of the most empowering things I’ve experienced in my 29 years.

I could not be more excited to experience this with 30 women in the most magical place I’ve ever been too. I can not wait to combine our power and help one another be the highest versions of ourselves. We have 12 spots left & I guarantee it’s going to be a life altering experience✨

Oh how I missed New York.

The uncertainty of this year has definitely left things that are usually seemingly normal feel foreign and new again. It’s been hard for me to push my Covid guilt aside a lot lately. With cases rising I feel responsible for everyone around me so as I navigate our new normal I do so with fresh; cautious eyes.

I’m trying to soak up all the joy I can this year, just walking in cute place wearing cute clothes with my gorgeous friends has turned into an adventure. I can look it at filled with anxiety and resentment or I can take the opportunity to view my life with a new lense; one filled with gratitude and love.

What’s your favorite drink?

Mine currently is a super dirty martini. The more olive juice the better. It’s funny I always grew up thinking women who drank martinis were sophisticated and badass. Today I am that woman and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

It’s hard sometimes to give ourselves the recognition we deserve. We work hard day in and day out to be the best version of ourselves possible and yet we here “I’m so proud of you” from ourselves the least. We deserve to hear those words of affirmation from ourselves. To recognize all the places we have come from & all the spaces we have yet to conquer.

I love that athleisure is still trendy currently. Going out to dinner feeling comfortable, but cute is always a vibe.

Pushing myself to be more creative in all aspects of my life. A little more daring and adventurous. I realized I have six more months of my twenties left; what a jarring realization that was. This year like many of us I’ve played it safe a bit, really relished in all things comfortable which was good for my soul. I’m just ready for a change; this closest refresh has really helped make me feel less stagnant.

This year fall feels a little more magical for me than usual. I absolutely adore this season; the warm cozy hues, recipes, cool crisp air and overwhelming feeling of fresh start. has been hard to say very least, my body changed, mood is always fluctuating with wave current events it’s definitely made managing depression harder. Sometimes head plays tricks on & in throws 2020 caught myself like didn’t deserve feel good about anymore. Dressing clothes that make badass bitch, doing just bare minimum makeup, even seemingly silly things accessorizing an outfit. Recently I’ve upgraded wardrobe slowly but surely. It’s brought whole new sense confidence peace into life. not it without challenges. Ordering could literally fit two them because dysmorphia was whispering ear as browsed favorite websites.
