A little basement refresh! We spend a lot of time down here as a family so had to include kid friendly pieces. No sharp corners, nothing expensive, but sturdy enough to take a beating :) Area rug cleans up well, side table and coffee table no sharp corners and the beanbag also folds out into a full size bed mattress for slumber parties! Keeping it neutral decor as always.

We bought a house built in 1994 that has great bones but surely outdated. I am slowly remodeling / updating one room at a time! Some DIY, some contract work, with design and decorating by me. This bathroom was part of our basement that was roughed out to be an extra guest quarters. From studs to now, I am on my way to a nice guest bathroom :)

Our Primary Bedroom, work in progress, but starting to feel cozy! Very affordable bed/ bedding setup! Splurge nightstands :) balance. The cozy earth sheets we have feel like heaven on your body. The quality and affordability of Quince duvet is epic. And our room smells like a spa thanks to our Pura scent diffuser. Safe and clean scents.

We turned our formal dining room into our kids play room. Best decision ever! See the before and after. Before, during and after our kids bathroom update! The only thing we took out and changed professionally was the tile in shower and floors and had our existing tub re finished! The rest was DIY and kept what was existing making this a SUPER affordable update. I used Retique wood paint on the cabinets to give it a wood look, painted the walls and trim bright white (BM - Chantilly Lace), did an epoxy kit on the counter to give it a marble look, updated faucets, and added a mirror frame! It will be perfect for our littles for quite some time :)
