Here are the top three things I would suggest for newborn entertainment. My newborn loves this kicking gym so much. We play every morning and the best part is, it is meant to be used as babies grow and can teach them more and more things. Additionally, we use the Boppy inside to prop him up and do tummy time as well as incorporating the high contrast toys that he can see the most right now! I suggest adding all three of these things to your baby registry, soon-to-be-mamas!

Now that my newborn is 6 weeks old, I want to share my top baby registry items with you. This will be part 1 of 2, but these are things I use every single day and they make life so much easier.

1. Melii Baby Nail Buffer: (this is sooooo much easier and faster than a nail file and your baby's nails are going to be growing QUICKLY)

2. Hihened Electric Nasal Aspirator: many people will tell you to get the snot sucker, but it doesn't fit up my newborn's nose. This nasal aspirator is amazing and gets those baby boogies out really quickly and easily. It also plays music.

3. Muslin Cotton Burp Cloths: ...and lots of them. If you think you have enough, you don't. You'll use them often and wash them even more often.

4. My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow: if you are breastfeeding, this nursing pillow will be a savior to your back. It clips on and is adjustable to your body, supporting baby as they eat. I also highly suggest registering for an extra cover as well as the waterproof cover to put underneath. You'll use the extra cover while the other is in the wash, trust me. (I'll link the covers here as well)

5. Ubbi Wipes Container: this has a weighted top are so you only pull out one wipe at a time and holds multiple packs of wipes within so you aren't scrambling to get a new pack as often. This is NOT heated - the heated wipes containers can grow mold... yuck.

6. 100% Cotton 2-Way Zip Jammies: Carter's are my favorite, but make sure you buy 2-way-zip pajamas for your baby, because nighttime changes are MUCH easier when you don't have to totally undress them every time. They will also prefer staying warmer.

7. Snuggle Me Organic Lounger: I love this because it holds them and makes them feel secure and it's a place to lay baby down around your home. I also purchased an extra cover for this. (Blow outs happen and then you need to wash covers, trust me)

8. Joolbaby Automatic Bottle Brush: This makes bottle washing a breeze. The charge lasts a long time as well! Don't forget to register for some replacement heads.

Here is part 2 of my must-have baby registry items. After having a newborn for 6 weeks, I compiled the things I use the most and would highly recommend you add to your baby registry!

1. Philips Avent Bottle Warmer: my baby will drink breastmilk out of a bottle warm or cold, but this makes it so simple to warm it up when needed.

2. Frida Baby Thermometer: this is a must-have at home for newborns, just make sure you have some Vaseline nearby

3. Philips Avent Sanitizer: simply add distilled water and press the button. I use this thing multiple times per day! It sanitizes and dries. Use it for pump parts, bottles, pacifiers, and more.

4. Dagne Dover Large Diaper Backpack: this holds so much and wipes clean easily. It's well worth the price tag.

5. Keekaroo Changing Pad: this wipes clean with no covers or extra laundry to wash. It's WONDERFUL. They do sell pads if you want to keep your baby a bit warmer, they're machine washable. I will link those as well.

6. Frida Baby Grooming Kit: the hairbrush is fantastic and all of the nail pieces are great for the diaper bag on-the-go when you don't have your buffer handy.
