Makeup Vanity and beauty finds. I love my vanity to be cozy and whimsical.

My makeup vanity is my meditative spot in my home. I’ve been slowly collecting things to make it cozy, vintage, with some regency vibes. Ever After is one of my favorite comfort movies (along with White Chicks, but that’s not very aesthetic). I’ve been adding some inspiration from Ever After and Sleeping Beauty.

Instead of using traditional makeup organizers, I have been using pretty dishes and cups that my mom has thrifted me.

I linked some of the items that aren’t thrifted along with similar makeup vanities that urban outfitters has come out with since I’ve had my vanity. I have a small home and it’s just perfect for my space.

I got this makeup storage cart so l can have all my extra makeup within reach of my vanity. It JUST fit my mini beauty fridge too. The top of the organizer is nice because you can fill it with makeup brushes, perfume, skincare products, etc. it would make a good art / hobby cart too. It has wheels on the bottom and was really easy to put together. I added the cherries, butterflies, mushrooms, and prison mike to go with my space more.

I have always loved physician formula blushes and bronzers. They’re always really buttery, moisturizing, and smell like summer. This strawberry one gives such a nice, pink, glimmery glow. It smells delicious too! My only complaint is the strawberries do get rubbed off eventually. I’m not really sure how they would be able to keep the strawberries on it though. But it’s such a nice pretty pink blush regardless. I linked this blush and some other unique, cute, and just really good blushes / bronzers / highlighters for spring and summer.

I use this traveling makeup brush holder for vacations but I also use it for extra brush storage when I’m at home. Makeup brushes start to accumulate lol but the thing I love the most about it is it stays standing up. So you can just place it on the bathroom counter or desk at a hotel and your brushes are all right there organized and ready to use.

This little travel brush is one of my purse and traveling essentials. It has a little compartment where you can put hair ties, Bobby pins, jewelry, etc in it. I give it a little shake in the video so you can see the compartment does stay closed, you just need to make sure you close it correctly/ fully. It’s so cute and it’s a nice little brush.

Impress press on falsie lashes. I’ve been doing lashes since high school. Glue, magnetic, eyelash extensions. This is the easiest, quickest eyelash solution I’ve ever tried. I’m just a regular person too lol I’m not a makeup artist or anything. The ones I’m wearing are the natural whispy ones. They 19.99 and then they sell refills for $13.99 without the clamp.

You literally just put them under your lashes and clamp down. I just wore these for a day , slept in them, worked out for an hour with them and they’re still going strong. They are NOT waterproof tho. Just sharing because I was impressed (no pun intended) on how well they worked

I suck at nails & my nails have looked like crap all my life 😂 last time I got acrylics I thought they were so painful and I broke my nail the next day opening cat litter. So I’m really trying to make press ons work and am loving them so far.

This is how I did my nails this time around that I read online to help them last longer:

1. Wash hands good first.
2. Push down cuticles.
3. File the top of your nails (I did this lightly)
4. Clean with the alcohol pad.
5. Wait to dry and then glue on each nail.
6. Try not get hands wet for a few hours after you put the nails on.

I’m going on week 2 with these nails now and my thumb nail only popped off once but I just glued it back on & have had no problems since 😊

Don’t forget that you can find some AMAZING deals on vanities at thrift stores or you can just buy a pretty table top vanity mirror and put on a desk. I went through a lot of vanity set ups before I got this one. The older I get, the more I think homes should have a mix of vintage /thrifted anyways for a home to look right.

I’m sick of spending a fortune to get trendy nails and then breaking one the next day. I bought these nails on sale for $10 (they’re about $15 now) and I’m never going back. It was so easy to do and they don’t hurt at all. They’re so many cute options at amazon & target. I heard rave reviews about this particular nail glue. I linked it.

I’m using a Hue light bulb to change colors. I just have mine hooked over one of my cat shelf’s but you can just get a command hook for your ceiling. I bring this in my tent too for camping and use a battery charged light bulb. 😊
