GREASY HAIR FIX? “ME” Yes, it takes 30 minutes & it’s so worth it!!! If you, your teen or tween have greasy (sometimes smelly) hair even after washing it, THIS WILL FIX IT! 💯

This technique removes sebum and/or shampoo buildup without drying out the scalp. That greasy build up is really stuck to the hair & it’s hard to get off. Detox shampoos don’t work for this. They dry out the scalp & the scalp will produce more oil. This method gets the buildup off & protects the scalp:)

1️⃣ **Prep & Rinse:** Start by soaking your hair with very warm (NOT HOT) water for at least a minute to soften sebum & saturate the hair. Apply shampoo, massage your scalp for a full minute, and rinse thoroughly. Move & lift your hair as you rinse to ensure every area is clean.

2️⃣ **Deep Cleanse:** Shampoo again, ensuring full scalp coverage (don’t forget behind the ears & the crown). Use twice the amount of shampoo than you normally would. Massage for one minute, then leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes. Make sure allis covered with shampoo! Rinse VERY thoroughly.

3️⃣ **Final Wash:** One more round of shampoo! Massage for one minute, let it sit for five minutes, & rinse for at least two minutes—really take your time here. Finish with conditioner & rinse well.

✨ Use this method about once a month or whenever build-up appears. Your hair & scalp will be refreshed, lightweight, and perfectly clean!!!

I’ve been a stylist for 25 yrs & came up with this system when I was a new stylist. I did’t have a clientele so I got a lot of teens & tweens in my chair:) SO many had this smelly build up & they said their has was clean! I knew they felt embarrassed:( I found that softening the build up was the best way to get it off & eventually found that this shampoo is the best for it!!! I have had SO many texts & messages over the yrs thanking me for this tip. Lots of happy tears too because this can be so embarrassing for teens. Happy tears from moms too! They think they hair have oily hair, it’s just build up 99% of the time! And there’s an easy (30 minute, lol) solution!🥰

Hold Screen to read text! 🙂‍↔️ This is a very quick technique but I still wanted to explain it so it makes sense! I have too many words, as always. ☺️ Oh & this song, American Kids - I was born in 78, grew up in the 80’s & 90’s, this song is so relatable!!!! Who’s with me on this? lol!

my FAVORITE TEXTURE SPRAY THAT’S FINALLY BACK IN STOCK!!!! 🥳 And the curling iron link!

I ♥️ this curling technique. All the steps matter to get that bend! The motion of pulling the iron to the crown as the ends slide through the barrel is what makes the ends bend back & not out!

💥 NOTE: KEEP YOUR IRON TEMP (at least) UNDER 350. This technique, although quick, you still can take your time if the temp is low. And, you can redo it if the curl bends weird. Sometimes I do it 3x until I really like the curl bend:) LOW TEMPS FOR THIS ONE:)

I used a 1.25” iron for this. These are my favorite irons bc the hair slides easily on the titanium barrel.

I went to Salon Centric (pro beauty supply store) to pick up a few bottles & it was gone! I asked the person working, they looked it up & it was even out of stock in the warehouse!!! I was like “NO!” In the hair world, products come & go all the time!! Pick Me Up can NEVER GO! lol! Anyway, long story short, it’s back lol! 😁

Who else LOVES a side part???

This is an easy way to get the heavy side of your part up off your face. I share this product quite a bit because it’s so good! It’s a very unique product! I haven’t found any other product like it!

It’s sort of a cross between a hairspray & a texturizer. A good way to explain Pick Me Up is it’s a lightweight dry texture with hold. It coats the hairs & definitely adds texture & volume. A little goes a LONG way. You can always add, but start with just a little! It smells INCREDIBLE!!!

And, my favorite part is that it brushes out easily. That’s important!

Shot! I've had it for quite a few years! Just wrap hair around the barrel, before you drop the curl, hair the cool shot button and it will cool curl in your hand. It's SO good! I also added my favorite dry shampoo. The best I've found in 25 years as a pro hair artist! I use it in my hair on the first day I style it. It will repel oil & you'll get more days in between washes AND more volume!

Honestly you don’t need to spend a lot on a waving iron;) They’re all very very similar. Size is what matters for these. I’m using a small barrel waver. The 3 I added are small barrel!

The Voloom is life changing for a lot of people. It creates texture at the root holding the hair up off the scalp. MUCH better volume than teasing. However, you can tease voloomed hair:) I love it bc it gets the hair off the scalp so I can get more days inbetween washes. I wish I would have invented this! 🥰 oh & it’s SO easy to use!!
