From Vit C to dermaplaning and everything in between!

I’m in great need of refreshing my skincare as I have run out of so many items! I’m restocking my spf $11 via @walmart currently!!! and this @mdsolarsciences eye cream I really like! Trying something new with my Vit C, serum, and toning pads- all Barefaced! Trying a PM only eye cream by @versed. Will report back but so excited!

1 of the 3 “Holy Grail” products that is the “Fountain of Youth” in a tube. This little miracle worker holds the power of anti-aging by increasing cellular turnover by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as well as acne. Retinoic acid is the active ingredient in these Vitamin A derivatives.
- Retinol: less poignant, non-active ingredients that are activated once absorbed into your skin, non-prescription
- Retinaldehyde: less side effects of retinol and retinoids
- Retinoid: stronger and more penetrating, more active enzymes and ingredients, prescription strength. Examples not linked due to availability through provider only.
- Side effects are flaking, redness, peeling, irritation, sun sensitivity that’s almost guaranteed to occur. On average it takes 2-6 weeks for these side effects to end and effects to begin.

*** APPLICATION/USEAGE ***
* TIP 1:
Start week 1 using 3x per week, 2nd week use every 2 nights, 3rd week use every other until tolerating every night
* Tip 2:
Always apply eye cream and thick lip moisture (chapstick, Vaseline, Aquaphor) BEFORE retinol/retinoid.
Only use 1 pea size amount and dot in 5 areas of face to evenly distribute.
When first introducing, mix with moisturizer to apply.

- Use: exfoliator 2-3x per week.
