Back again with another edition of, “Well I can’t leave the house like this” 🫣

Honestly though, I have no big plans other than school pickup, and sports practice drop off so I decided to do the bare minimum to make myself presentable ✨

Today, I’m using my #voloom iron. It’s as easy as sectioning off my hair starting from the bottom up, tapping this iron a couple times at my roots, putting in my favorite texture powder and walking out the door.

I have been searching for the perfect wide leg, distressed, black jeans to wear with my #Abercrombie #Chiefs Super Bowl jersey and well, I hit the nail on the head!

Since turning 40, I’ve gained a little bit in my midsection so I opted for ordering both the regular and curvy styles. These are the curvy and they fit me like a glove 👌🏻 I’m 5’1 and I typically wear a size 8.

I opted for the regular length because I like a baggy bottom with my wide legs, but I could definitely sport the short inseam. Can’t wait to style these for the #SUPERBOWL 🏈❤️🖤💛

Something to Consider— Colors vary depending on skin tone. I like a good neutral liner for everyday but depending on what I’m wearing, sometimes I reach for a mauve liner and blend it into my lip for a more put together look.

Whatever colors suit you best, just make sure you choose a cool colored contour for that bottom lip shadow.

My hair in my 20s vs. now? Not even in the same category. In fact, if I did a before and after you might die laughing 😆

In my 20’s it was bleach & heat damage, but these days it’s hormones, stress, aging, and life— after 40, they’ve come for my strands. ⚡️ I do wear extensions now, thanks to my incredible stylist, but I’ve always had super fine, thin hair (thanks, genetics 🙃). After 40 though, I’ve noticed even more breakage, dullness, and an overall decline in appearance.

So here’s my routine: 💅🏻
I don’t wash daily.
I baby my hair with the right product and tools.
And I’ve found the perfect combo for my fine-thin hair + extensions.
